Registration Rules and Regulations: 

  1. Registration is subject to seat availability and on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis.
  2. Successful registrants will receive a confirmation email with links to download the official receipt and admission ticket.
  3. Registered participants who are unable to attend the Hong Kong Competition Exchange (Exchange) can nominate a substitute participant (in the same fee category) upon approval from the Hong Kong Competition Commission (Commission). If you wish to request a name change, please email the Conference Secretariat at on or before 25 October, 2018.
  4. Overseas participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Registration fees do not include any insurance coverage. The Commission accepts no responsibility for any loss in this regard.
  5. By registering, you agree and acknowledge that the Commission, along with its partners, subcontractors, or affiliates, plans to take photographs and capture video footage at the Exchange for reproduction in educational, news, or promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or any other media including the Exchange and the Commission’s websites. By participating in the Exchange, you grant the Commission and any of its designated subcontractors, partners, or affiliates the right to use your name and image (both photographs and videos) for such purposes.
  6. Refund for cancellation will be made, subject to the following deadline and handling fee:
    • Written notice of cancellation received on or before 14 September 2018 – Refund of 50% of the fee paid
    • Written notice of cancellation received after 14 September 2018 – No refund
    1. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing via email to .
    2. Please indicate your registered name and registration code in the notification of cancellation.
    3. All refunds will be processed after the Exchange. The Conference Secretariat will notify the participant of the refund arrangements by email.
    4. For overseas participants, cancellation of the registration does not automatically cancel their hotel and travel arrangements. Individuals are responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.
    5. No-show or early departure will not qualify for a refund of fees.
    6. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the Exchange beyond the control of the Commission such as weather conditions, the only and maximum liability of the Commission is to refund all the registration fees paid.
  7. Programme of the Exchange is subject to change without prior notice.
  8. The Commission reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend or alter the registration rules and regulations. In the event of any disputes, the decision of the Commission shall be final and conclusive.
